Since our inception in 2004, Destination Dreaming has been dedicated to supporting Indigenous businesses in the Asia Pacific region. With a commitment to creating positive change, we've contributed over 5,000 hours of pro bono assistance and raised tens of thousands of dollars to help these businesses thrive. In 2009 we lobbied the Fijian government on behalf of Nasivikoso village to build a much-needed primary school for their remote highlands community of 700 people.
At Destination Dreaming, we generate revenue by facilitating powerful Off The Grid immersions for select groups. We use the surplus revenue from these immersions to support Indigenous business development and transform lives and empower local entrepreneurs.
For nearly 500 years, Indigenous people worldwide have faced exclusion from enterprise and business development due to the legacy of the European Empire. However, the tide is turning, and there's a growing global interest in Indigenous culture, products and services.
